Born in Phoenix, Arizona, and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, Deacon is a singer, instrumentalist, songwriter, and worship leader. He has studied multiple forms of vocal technique ranging from classical German and French to modern R&B.

He attended Vanguard University where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Worship Studies, studying vocal technique under Tyler Wolsten. While at Vanguard, he served on and led multiple worship teams, both for official campus chapels and for various student-led gatherings.

He has performed at venues such as The Smith Center for the Performing Arts for the Nevada High School Musical Theater Awards and Segerstrom Center for the Arts for Vanguard University’s Christmas Fantasia.
